Reflecting on the past months as a collective can help you see how effective you were able to plan that year and how you can duplicate what worked for the next year. It helps you see, in a lens of gratitude, all the things you were able to accomplish, all the experiences you had, and how much you were able to change as a person.

What I Learned this year:

  • God’s timing is always right.
  • It’s okay to rest but never let yourself get lazy. Never stay stagnant or a sitting Duck. God works but you need to put in the efforts too, it won’t fall on your lap.
  • Resting is productive too.
  • Hustle culture was not for me and that’s okay.
  • Family time is crucial and so important.
  • Pray for friendships bc God listens and he delivers, he does not want you to be alone.
  • Look for Godfidence.
  • Relationships should be valuable on both ends.
  • You can’t pour from an empty cup, Selfcare is IMPORTANT
  • Planning and goal setting is effective.
  • Never stop learning, even if it’s just reading a self help book.
  • MAKE time and schedule in new experiences.
  • Being picky and selective is not such a bad thing.
  • Setting boundaries is crucial in relationships.
  • You have the power to control your emotions and if you will let something affect you.
  • Prayer is a conversation with God and practicing prayer in community helps strengthen your prayer life.
  • Practicing gratitude daily helps you ground yourself.
  • You should not feel guilty for outgrowing situations and/or people
  • Always be upfront with your feelings if something is bothering you, the right people will appreciate it.
  • Love like Jesus – it makes such a difference with how to move forward with people and situations.
